Rick Williment is a registered psychotherapist (PB55646) working in private clinical practice in Wellington CBD, as well as online (and therefore to those outside of Wellington). He is a certified Transactional Analyst (Psychotherapy) and also certified in Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy. Rick completed a formal training and internship in sex therapy in 2011.
Having previously worked as a sex therapist for the Wellington Sexual Health Service and as a contractor to Sex Therapy New Zealand, Rick is experienced in helping with a wide range of sexual difficulties. He enjoys working with individuals and couples and with non-conventional relationship agreements.
He is particularly experienced in individual counselling and psychotherapy for adults facing problems with:
- Desire difference between partners
- Low sexual desire
- Anxiety that manifests sexually
- Sexual (and other) traumas that interfere with sexual intimacy
- Establishing a positive sexual identity
- Poly and non-monogamous relationships
- Sexual “dysfunction” including erectile problems
- Betrayal and relationship problems stemming from sexual affairs
- Anorgasmia
- Out of control sexual behaviour (often referred to as sexual addiction)
- Paraphilias.

Post Graduate Certificate in Health Science (Group psychotherapy, 2008)
Post Graduate Diploma in Health Science (Attachment in clinical practice, 2009)
Fees
$150, incl GST (60 minutes) reducible to $130 for hardship
Sessions
are 60 minutes
Cancellation Policy
Rick's cancellation policy is a full working days notice of cancellation. This will give him the opportunity to use that session time.
If the full working days notice of cancellation is not given and he is able to re-book the session, no charge will be made,
If the full working days notice of cancellation is not given and he is unable to re-book the session then the full session fee will be charged.
